GRINDELWALD

Wedding photographer in Grindelwald
In the middle of the Bernese Alps, I was able to photograph Fränzi & Dominic as a wedding photographer in Grindelwald. I encountered heavy snowfall on the drive between Interlaken and the historic church in Grindelwald. Dark, heavy clouds hung over the north face of the Eiger and obscured the view of the wonderful mountain world.
The wedding party was a mixed bunch: half from the Bernese Oberland, the other half from the canton of Uri. The wedding guests were used to rough weather and bravely trudged through the fresh snow. After the very emotional ceremony and a cozy aperitif in the rectory, we boarded the cable car to Grindelwald - First. The celebratory wedding party formed a refreshing contrast to the skiers returning to the valley.
The snowfall in Grindelwald became heavier in the late afternoon and slowly developed into a storm. A perfect moment for me as a wedding photographer to create unforgettable pictures in the snow with the bride and groom.
Fränzi and Dominic defied the challenging weather with their good mood. The two skilfully climbed rocks in the mountains next to the Cliff Walk - true to the motto: "Jungfrau - Top of Adventure".
What I really love as a wedding photographer are moments like this: the bride and groom leave their comfort zone with me and dare to do something. This results in stylish, creative wedding photos that are far removed from the mainstream. Actually, they are just like the bride and groom - unique. When we returned, the wedding guests from Uri had already taken out the accordion and started a lavish party in the mountain inn First .
After a delicious wedding dinner and a really short night, we were woken up by the rays of sunshine over the Bernese Alps. We were able to say goodbye in amazement in front of the mountain backdrop. It was really lovely with Fränzi and Dominic. Thank you for allowing me to experience Grindelwald at its most exciting as your wedding photographer.
